is situated in the South-Western side of Harghita mountain at 680 m above sea level, in the valley of Homorodul Mare.

Accessible through National Road no. 13A between Miercurea-Ciuc and Odorheiu Secuiesc, at 17 km from Odorheiu Secuiesc.

At Băile Homorod Spa can be found 6 mineral water springs: "Homorod", "Clotilda", "Lobogo" (20 l/min), "Maria"(4 l/ min), "Ilona", "Csorgo".
Therapeutical recommandations
The carbonated, cloruro-sodic waters, rich in Fe ions are recommended for the following diseases:
- Cardio-vascular system
- Arterial hypertension
- Digestive system
Not recommended in hyperacidity and ulcer.
